Description
Purpose: As part of the Quality & Process Engineering team, plan, develop, 
implement and maintain all processes in support of the group’s business 
requirements. Ensure that there are professionally designed processes in 
place that 
deliver quality product, on time and competitively to our customer base. 
Key 
responsibilities of this position include developing an understanding of 
our products, 
determining the needed manufacturing processes to assure product quality 
and 
working with our manufacturing teams to develop, implement and 
monitor/measure 
the performance of those processes. 

Responsibilities: 

* Prepare plant layouts in support of expansion plans and continuous 
improvement 
programs. All layouts to be designed in consultation with the relevant 
stakeholders 
i.e. Production, Engineering, Quality, Facilities, etc. with emphasis on 
optimal 
utilization of floor space and a site wide consistent approach of 
manufacturing cells. 
* Perform Quality Audits and measure and report on production QC yields. 
Drive 
improvement and corrective action programs. 
* Review and maintain the QMS documentation. 
* Perform work analysis and compile report data in support of continuous 
improvement projects. 
* Provide support to Production as required to meet the business targets 
and 
objectives. 
* Take part in internal audits and assist in the preparation of subsequent 
reports. 
* Monitor facilities, plant and tool operations and report any problems. 
* Support the Health & Safety Officer in activities such as fire drills, 
equipment 
maintenance and hazard identification. 
* Identify and eliminate process-related bottlenecks. 
* Inspect, approve and where necessary identify packaging materials or 
alternatives. 
* Support facilities and maintenance activities etc. 
* Perform new process designs and necessary tooling/equipment required 
* Identify and implement productivity projects 
* Work with site groups in implementing 5S principles through employee 
identified \ 
* Quality Escalation point for customers 
* Tool development for production and warehouse processes

Skills
* Relevant Qualification. 8-10 years in relevant experience 
* BS EE, ME or IE 
* Knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standard 
* Internal Auditing Experience 
* Problem solving and decision making skills. 
* Competent in office systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
* Must possess strong influencing and leadership skills, program 
management 
skills and the ability to create processes to support our business 
environment 
* Team working skills.
