Job Description: |

The responsibilities of this position will
include:
• Assist in the sales and application
engineering of developmental materials sold
directly by QuesTek, as well as support
QuesTek’s licensees in their sales of licensed
materials.
• Help expand relationships with end-users and
specifiers of engineered materials, such as
engineers, designers and OEMs.
• Support overall marketing efforts by assisting
in the preparation or management of sales
collateral, material data sheets, material
processing and use documents, technical
articles, sales and technical presentations,
website content, and CRM database.
• Contribute content and ideas to proposals for
materials design or technology R&D, such as by
performing market research, developing
commercialization plans, and leveraging
excellent writing skills.
• Participate in project teams that research,
propose, design and invent new materials, and
rapidly bring them to market.
Preferred candidates will likely have: a good
combination of business and materials
engineering skills, with a B.S. degree (minimum)
in materials science, mechanical engineering or
related fields and preferably about 5-10 years
of industry work experience (in technical
sales/marketing a plus); excellent communication
skills (both written and oral); a strong
interest in materials technology
commercialization; and a desire to excel within
a dynamic entrepreneurial team environment. |
