Job Description: |
|
The Manager, Electrical Systems shall coordinate
all aspects of design, development and
integration of electrical systems in a fuel cell
power plant. The successful candidate shall have
hands-on experience in power electronics
including DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters,
integration of batteries or super capacitors,
integration and troubleshooting of
electromechanical components such as
pumps/blowers, various sensors and embedded
controllers. Typical functions in the electrical
group include:
•Generating electrical one-line and three-line
diagrams
•Conducting systems analysis and related trade
studies to identify optimum
electrical/electronics system design
•Defining appropriate top-down controls
architecture
•Developing specifications, selection and
characterization of DC/DC converters, DC/AC
inverters. Work closely with suppliers for
custom design of specific components to achieve
best of the class efficiency and reliability.
•PCB layout for developed designs
•Selecting appropriate components for the target
design, ranging from associated hardware
(connectors) to CPU systems
•Document designs with written theory of
operation descriptions and interface design
specifications as required
•System design, analysis, and specification
including FPGA design and simulation
•Detailed analog & digital design
•Verification and documentation for production
release
•Ensure system design for all appropriate code
compliances
Skills:
•BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or
related area. MS degree preferred.
•Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with
increasing responsibilities
•Proficient with codes and standards for fuel
cells and other DG products
•Ability to carry a product design from
conception into production
•Hands-on hardware design experience with analog
and digital design solutions. Hands on
