Job Description: |

A Division Director supervises the overall programmatic delivery of
services to
individuals suffering from the disease of chemical dependency, in
accordance with
all federal, state and local laws, professional ethics, CARP policy and
procedure, and
contract requirements. The services provided are based on the Twelve Core
Functions of the Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor and their Global
Criteria.
A Division Director is expected to be proficient and knowledgeable of all
Twelve
Core Functions: screening, intake, orientations, assessment, treatment
planning,
counseling, case management, crisis intervention, client education,
referral, report
and record keeping, and consultation with other professionals in regard to
client
treatment/services. The Division Director acts as the administrative
leader for a
group of clinical programs. In addition to the Twelve Core Functions, a
Division
Director must possess management and administrative skills used to
determine and
meet the goals of the agency.
